Jeffrey M. Trigger began his hotel career while studying for his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees at California State University, Sacramento. He later joined Amfac Resorts in California and Hawaii, attaining regional responsibilities before his 1984 transfer to The Historic Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. He served as Managing Director there until his recruitment by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in 1991 when he became the Managing Director of The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas. In 1999, he was recruited to restore and reposition The Driskill Hotel in Austin Texas, and one year after the hotel’s successful sale in 2005, Mr. Trigger launched La Corsha Hospitality Group. La Corsha has approximately 200 employees and is currently managing, renovating, and developing hotels in San Antonio, Dallas and Austin, Texas.

Mr. Trigger has been named to the list of “Best Hotel Managers in The World” by Leaders Magazine and listed as a “General Manager of The Year” by Business Traveler Magazine. He received the Vogel Award from The Family Gateway for “exemplary service to the community”, and the Founders Award from Communities in Schools, Dallas. Mr. Trigger is a graduate of Leadership Austin.

His professional, civic, cultural, and charitable leadership positions include; Chair/President Emeritus Positions from The Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, The Downtown Austin Alliance, Family Gateway – Dallas, ECHO (Ending Chronic Homelessness Organizing Committee), and First Night Austin. He maintains advisory board position with each of the aforementioned organizations and currently serves on the board or advisory board of the following organizations: Communities in Schools Austin, Ballet Austin, The Heritage Society of Austin, Housing Works, Front Steps and Helping Hand Home for Children. Mr. Trigger is a former board member of The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Jeffrey Trigger is a native of the California wine country and is married to Kathy Steele. They have two daughters, Coralee and Shannon. His hobbies include music, distance running, martial arts, and traveling.
